September is Hunger Action Month. To observe it this year, Subway Restaurants of Arizona is joining the fight against hunger statewide by partnering with Feeding America to donate meals to local area food banks.
Through the “Feeding the Need” initiative, for every two meals purchased by customers, Subway Restaurants of Arizona will donate one meal, up to 150,000, to the food banks in their communities through September 30.
Along with fighting hunger, Arizona Subway franchisees are teaming up to give away $60,000 in grants to Arizona nonprofits that serve at-risk children through Subway Kids & Sports of Arizona.
