Walter Station is the latest brewery to open in Phoenix, which has been experiencing a boom in craft beer over the past five years.
It’s located in a building that was a fire station for over 40 years, from 1966 to 2008. Named – in part – to honor the station, the brewery’s first phase, including a 5,200-square-foot space, is now open. Phase two will finalize the build-out and additional guest space. It will be complete by summer’s end.
Currently, there are over a dozen beers on tap as well as a full menu, patio and event space.
