Taking notes? There’s an app for that. But I’m not interested.
When I need to take notes, I reach for a pen more often than my laptop. Everyone has their preferences, but I like to write things down. And I’m not alone.
According to Lifehack, physically putting pen to paper can help you remember what you write. Why? Because writing allows your brain to visualize the information, which can help concepts and ideas stick in your memory like gum on a sidewalk.
It’s also a great excuse to buy new notebooks and pens (as if I need an excuse).
