The City of Prescott and WSH Hospitality have broken ground on a new hotel in downtown Prescott. The Hilton Garden Inn comes in response to growing tourism in the city and will serve as a catalyst project for the area.
Recreational and public space improvements surrounding the 100-room hotel are set to take place. The plans include refurbishing the historic pedestrian railroad trestle that crosses Granite Creek.
The city plans to improve walking trails and create a new green space, playground, splash pad and a new outdoor event space, which may be the new home of Prescott’s Farmers Market.
