Girl Scouts – Arizona Cactus-Pine Council is pleased to award its most prestigious honor, the Gold Award, to 27 local girls this year. This distinguished award, considered the most difficult to earn, allows Girl Scouts to take action in their communities by tackling an issue and implementing measurable change.
Gold Award Girl Scouts provide sustainable solutions to society’s biggest challenges. This year’s awardees have tackled prominent issues by cleaning up our planet, creating programs to support low-income students’ well-being, creating self-defense programs to battle violence against women, getting laws changed to end forced child marriage and more.
