As part of its Southern Arizona Business Banking Initiative, WaFd Bank Arizona is formally expanding its Tucson footprint by adding a commercial business center at its Magee and Oracle branch. The center will house its southern Arizona Commercial and Real Estate teams.
The center and overarching initiative brings together long-time southern WaFd Bank veterans Kim Dees, senior vice president and southern Arizona retail division manager, and Georgia Velarde, senior vice president and commercial real estate loan officer, with newly hired Jill S. Malick and Steven J. Ponzo, both respected area relationship managers with long-time ties to Tucson and southern Arizona.
