You’ve heard of Netflix and Chill, but what about U-Haul and Spin?
While the state-of-the-art U-Haul Conference & Fitness Center, which locally owned and operated CHASSE Building Team started work on in downtown Phoenix in 2019, isn’t scheduled to open its doors until July 2021, that isn’t stopping them from helping team members safely stay active amid the pandemic.
When complete, the two-story 54,000-square-foot facility will provide meeting and collaboration space, exercise facilities, wellness services and continuing education for its team members. This includes an indoor gymnasium, an elevated track and a state-of-the-art training center with free weights and cardio equipment.
Beyond this, there will also be group fitness rooms; meeting work spaces; an expansive kitchen; high-end presentation video/audio system for large events; and an on-site health clinic for team use. Until then, however, U-Haul has been offering programming – including distanced spin classes – on the completed roof – while actively hiring at dozens of positions across the state.
