Sometimes, a cutting edge car will offer a feature that’s kinda silly, kinda gimmicky, but you GOTTA have it. In BMWs, it’s the ability to twirl your finger to change the volume. In Teslas, it’s Ludicrous mode.
In Mercedes’ new electric flagship, the EQS, that feature is sound experience. Mercedes has hired a team of audio engineers to make sure the EQS sounds like an evil starship upon hard acceleration, and well, I think they’ve nailed it.
Sound Experience adds a delightfully sharp bite to what’s otherwise an extremely lavish and serene EV. I can’t wait for the AMG version.
