Science & Sunshine

Every Saturday through Feb. 20th, ditch the digital noise of online learning and escape to the natural world. Here children can experience important lessons in physical education, science, and health. We’ll hike 2.2 miles and gain 70 feet of elevation to observe, question, and reflect on the beauty of the Sonoran Desert. We’ll use our maps to find our way through a maze of trails. We’ll climb rocks made from magma and marked with ancient petroglyphs. We’ll learn about plant life, insects, and animals unique to our desert.
