Arizona among the narrowest gender pay gaps in United States

gender pay gap

The gender pay gap is real. Arizona women, on average, receive 85% of the pay of men.

And sadly, that said, Arizona boasts one of the smallest gaps in gender pay equity in the country. Employers may be aware of this reality but not be clear on the risk of perpetuating this disparity. Recently, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) reaffirmed its plans to move forward with reporting on pay data.

Once it receives this information from companies, the EEOC can enforce the Equal Pay Act and initiate investigations or levy fines. Employers – audit your pay practices to avoid surprises.

Branding remains at forefront of business success

branding business success

Proper branding is one of the best ways for a business to gain customers and expand into new areas. Creating impactful, promotional branding that helps take a business to the next level can be an important component of those expansion efforts.

There are several things businesses should consider in the process. Simplicity leads to recognition and logo recall is essential to branding. Color usage should not be underestimated. Consumers often form an opinion of your brand based solely on the colors you use. In fact, your colors could attract – or actually repel – 60 to 90% of your target customer base.
