Halt deine Lederhosen Fest!
Hold onto your lederhosen! The City of Litchfield Park and The Wigwam are partnering to host a fun-filled cultural event for the community. Litchfield Park’s Oktoberfest will take place on Saturday, October 5, 2019, from 6 to 9 p.m. on the front lawn of The Wigwam. German inspired entrées will be prepared by The Wigwam’s chefs and, of course, German and domestic beers as well as wine will be served at the festival. Come dance and sing along as Nickelcity Express plays a variety of music, including Oktoberfest favorites. Wear your best German outfits for chances to win prizes for both adults and kids. The event will include a children’s area and plenty of entertainment for the entire family, including lawn games and a polka competition!

Festival admission is $15 per person and includes a souvenir stein for all advance ticketholders and while supplies last at the gate. Children under 12 are admitted free. Proceeds from sales of admission tickets and Oktoberfest souvenirs benefit the Litchfield Park Recreation Department. Advance tickets will be available for purchase starting Thursday, July 25, 2019, at the Litchfield Park Recreation Center, 100 S. Old Litchfield Road, or online at Admission prices do not include food and beverages. Tickets may be purchased at the gate the day of the festival.
