America’s fifth largest non-bank mortgage servicer, Shellpoint Mortgage Servicing (SMS), is expanding operations in Tempe with plans to add positions by the end of 2020.
SMS currently employs about 700 people at its Tempe location in customer service, collections, portfolio management, compliance and payment processing positions. As an essential business, SMS has stayed open during the pandemic and has expanded to add staff to help homeowners who are struggling financially because of COVID-19 related illness or business closure. SMS is committed to the communities in which it is located, providing charitable contributions, goods, and services to a variety of local charities.
