Office Etiquette Survey Ranks Biggest Offenses

According to a recent study, bad language, bringing pets to the office and outward displays of political support are the biggest offenses one can make in the workplace. While not quite as egregious, two in five respondents reported that playing music without headphones and streaming sports events remain office annoyances that all should avoid.

The study also found that over 90% of respondents believe overall restrictions and once frowned-upon etiquette are far more accepted today. In fact, while once taboo, one-third of companies that responded now see no problem with employees donning visible tattoos, casual attire and non-traditional hair colors.
