Northwest Valley Connect Announces “Motors and Heels”

Northwest Valley Connect is a non-profit organization that fills a void providing personal transportation services to seniors and others in the region in need. It was started in 2015 providing 255 rides, and it has grown rapidly since.

In 2019 the volunteers and staff provided 17,000 rides for medical visits, food bank pick-ups and more. “Motors and Heels,” a fundraiser, takes place Feb. 8-15, with participants choosing to walk, run, bike, use a wheelchair, roller skate or treadmill.

Sponsored by Home Instead and Ascent Audiology and Hearing, registration for Motors and Heels is $35 per person and is due by Feb. 1.
