Swoop, Canada’s low cost airline and a subsidiary of WestJet Airlines, now offers flights between the rapidly growing Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport and Winnipeg’s James Armstrong Richardson International Airport.
The new, non-stop route operates twice weekly on Thursday and Sunday, now through April 23, 2020. The flight will occur on a Boeing 737-800 aircraft, offering 189 passengers with in-seat power and Wi-Fi connectivity.
In addition, the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway recently announced it will open a Panera Bread, O.H.S.O. Brewery, Macayo’s Mexican and Infusion Coffee and Tea by year’s end. It also reported that last year it served a record 1.8 million travelers.
