Gospel Rescue Mission offers a path to sobriety

William was a self-described “functioning addict” when his boss took him aside to help him get sober. What began with a 30-day program has exploded into 500+ days of sobriety – due to the recovery program at Gospel Rescue Mission.

“I felt as if my chains were broken … I was set free!” he said of getting sober, which allowed his relationship with God to grow. Today, William aspires to fling open the doors to recovery for others by helping them to heal and move forward.

On #TestimonyTuesday, he vowed to bring hope and transformation to others by becoming a recovery coach.
