‘The Cactus League’s Impact on Arizona’ Will Be The Topic At The Arizona Association for Economic Development’s Phoenix Luncheon

February 11, 2020 @ 11:00 am - 1:15 pm

$50 – $75

“The Cactus League’s Impact on Arizona” will be the topic at the Arizona Association for Economic Development’s (AAED) February luncheon.  It will be held on Feb. 11 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at 2901 N. Seventh St. in Phoenix.

Bridget Binsbacher, executive director of the Cactus League Baseball Association, Inc., along with Tammy Carr, principal of Mortenson, will share their insights and provide information on how the Cactus League has benefited all communities in Arizona.

James Smith, CEcD, economic development director of the Town of Fountain Hills, will moderate the discussion, which will touch on the Cactus League’s strength as an economic driver for tourism, development and construction in Arizona and how communities – even if they do not have a team – can maximize these benefits.

The cost of the luncheon is $50 for AAED members, $65 for non-members and $75 for late registrants. To register, click here.  The registration deadline is Thursday, Feb. 6 at noon. Vegetarian meals must be requested in advance. For more information, call AAED at (602) 240-AAED (2233), or visit www.aaed.com.

AAED, founded in 1974, has a mission to serve as Arizona’s unified voice advocating for responsible economic development through an effective program of professional education, public policy and collaboration.
