Over 3.6 million referrals, involving approximately 6.6 million children, are made to child protection agencies annually. The United States has one of the worst records among industrialized nations – losing, on average, between four and seven children daily to child abuse and neglect.
For the past 60-plus years, Childhelp has focused on proactively meeting the needs of abused and neglected children. It has also worked diligently to stop the cycle of abuse nationwide, notably innovating the Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline, among other programs.
The Childhelp Children’s Center of Arizona provides nearly 8,000 services to address the safety and well-being of children.
