Enhanced Angels Trumpet Ale House coming to Arcadia

Sharry and Mat Englehorn will open a second Angels Trumpet Ale House – Angels Trumpet Arcadia – inside the Arcadia Crossing Shopping Center on Thomas Road and 44th Street in mid-August. The venue will share space with the couple’s new passion project, a craft cocktail lounge named Tall Glass.

Carved into the west side of the building, Tall Glass will be a separate cocktail lounge with its own entrance and extensive menu of craft cocktails, including spirits from craft beer distilleries such as Rogue Spirits and Cutwater Spirits.

The couple also plans to eventually open a small microbrewery on-site.

Artizen launches innovative summer menu

Artizen, Crafted American Kitchen & Bar at The Camby has a different approach when it comes to food. Rather than divide its newly launched menu by appetizer, sides, etc., the dishes are separated by “snack,” “soil,” “entrees” and “butcher’s block.”

The goal is to be cheeky and literal while reflecting the “where” and “why” behind the ingredients. For example, “soil” features dishes from the garden, whereas “snacks” are small bites you’d take from the pantry – if you lived with a chef, that is.

Recommendations from our new summer menu include Parisian gnocchi, sunchokes, smoked lamb neck bucatini and the tomahawk ribeye.
