A recent study names Austin as the top state capital to live in for 2020. The ranking is based on affordability, economy, quality of education and health, and quality of life. Rounding out the top 10 are: Raleigh, N.C.; Denver; Lincoln, Neb.; Madison, Wis.; Columbus, Ohio; Atlanta; Salt Lake City; Concord, N.H.; and Oklahoma City.
Phoenix was ranked at No. 18, while Trenton, N.J. was ranked as the lowest in the study followed by Charleston, W. Va.; Carson City, Nev.; Baton Rouge, La.; Hartford, Conn.; Montgomery, Ala.; Jackson, Miss.; Little Rock, Ark.; Providence, R.I.; and Dover, Del.
