At $27.3 billion (as of May 31, 2019), Scottsdale-based Republic Services Inc. tops the current list of the most-valuable publicly traded Arizona-based companies.
Chandler’s Microchip Technology ($20.1 billion), Phoenix’s Freeport-McMoran ($15.4 billion), Scottsdale’s GoDaddy ($13.5 billion) and Phoenix’s Pinnacle West Capital Corporation ($10.8 billion) round out the top five.
Companies that made the top 25 outside of Phoenix, Scottsdale and Chandler, include Tempe’s Carvana ($10.1 billion), STORE Capital ($7.7 billion), Versum Materials ($5.6 billion) and Insight Enterprises ($2 billion) and Mesa’s Verra Mobility Corporation ($2.4 billion). Phoenix had the most entries in the top 25 with 11 total companies.
