2019 holiday shopping survey

2019 holiday shopping survey

According to a WalletHub survey, approximately 35 million Americans are still paying off debt from last holiday season. It is no surprise then that the same study showed 27% of consumers plan to spend less this year on holiday shopping than in 2018.

In addition, 52% of people don’t think Black Friday deals are anything special anymore. That being said, the same survey also polled individuals on what gifts they wanted most this year, with gift cards and electronics taking the top spots followed by clothes, books/ebooks, furniture or appliances, jewelry and toys rounding out the other spots on the list.
